George Washington's Rules for Civility and Decent Behavior

I have always loved George Washington's Rules for Civility and Decent Behavior, and I have decided to try to post weekly the "Rule for the Week". I will just go through the rules, post them, and translate them into modern language. This is week 2.

The first rule is:

2nd When in Company, put not your Hands to any Part of the Body, not usually Discovered.

Which means:

2nd Don't "touch yourself", or touch or scratch private areas, when with other people.
