My menu planning time went amiss this week. Friday there was the college class for my son in the morning, when I read my assignment for the Bible Study that night. Then Saturday, the day when my hubby went shopping for me (what a great guy!), there was no plan and no list. I had a quilting day Saturday with a local Quilts of Valor group. He made a shopping list, a plan. I've barely looked at it. Saturday night we were going to cook, but my sister needed to be picked up from the hospital (hubby) and my son needed to be picked up from the youth retreat at 5:00 (and didn't get there until 6:15) and there was no way to cook. Sunday there was church in the morning, and in the afternoon we went to my daughter's, over an hour's drive away. Dinner out.
So now it is menu Monday, and I am pulling out the plan. I find it has two dinners planned. Two. So I am scrambling to fill in the blanks from the freezer and the pantry. I'll do the best I can. Hamburgers Thursday - that's all he put. Rolls? Vegetable? I have no idea.

D: spaghetti, salad, bread
Wednesday (3/9):
B: bone broth
L: bone broth
D: lentil soup or chicken Caesar salad
Thursday (3/10):
B: 3 eggs scrambled w/spinach
L: chicken salad
D: hamburgers
Friday (3/11):
B: 3 eggs scrambled
w/spinach
L: salad with taco beef
D: Dinner out. Again. We won't be home, can't get home to eat. Busy week.
