Public school year winding down, and tonight is our Boy Scout troop's Court of Honor (which means I don't have to cook!). I'll be taking a salad. Wednesday our troop is conducting a flag retirement ceremony for our city! We have to be there early, so the "boys" will just have subs.
To make it easy on myself I took all the recipes this week from my Once a Month Cooking recipe book (pages listed). Here are our plans:
Sunday (6/11): BLTs, milk
shakes
Monday (6/12) (Boy Scouts): Court of
Honor
Tuesday (6/13): chicken cacciatore (p. 125), noodles, carrots
Wednesday (6/14) (Flag Retirement
Ceremony): Subway
Thursday (6/15) (CAP) (2:00 Jenny
Craig): Teriyaki chicken (p. 62), rice, zucchini
Friday (6/16): cheesy corn
casserole (p. 71), beets, spicy pumpkin muffins
Saturday (6/17): Hamburger/baked bean casserole (p. 89), salad
I usually don't think to make pumpkin-flavored things this time of year but now you've got me wanting pumpkin muffins! I do have a few cans of organic pumpkin in the pantry. Hmm...
