I also add additional plants that JD either knows, or that I figure he should know so I am posting them here to remind myself to help him become familiar with them. How many of these plants and trees can you identify? If you want me to come back later and identify them for you, post a comment.
A glimpse into our Charlotte Mason homeschool life, with a touch of FlyLady, seasoned with menu plans, and spiced with product reviews.

Nature Study; Boy Scouts 2nd Class Requirements
So yesterday we did a nature study that was prompted by a Boy Scout requirement for 2nd Class Rank: Identify ten native species plants that grow in your area. Today I went back and took photographs, since we didn't think of that yesterday. I didn't get a sycamore leaf; maybe I'll come back later and insert it.
I also add additional plants that JD either knows, or that I figure he should know so I am posting them here to remind myself to help him become familiar with them. How many of these plants and trees can you identify? If you want me to come back later and identify them for you, post a comment.
